Touring Artist

Judy James is a Touring Artist with the Texas Commission on the Arts. Artists included in the Touring Roster must have a history of touring and the Texas Touring Arts Program is designed to ensure that all Texans have the ability to enjoy performances by outstanding Texas-based artists in their own communities.

The Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) provides grants to help with the costs of bringing in companies and artists from this roster for performances.  

Texas Touring Presenters is the companion grant program that allows performing arts presenters in Texas to apply for up to 50% artistic fee support for approved artists from the Texas Touring Company and Artist Roster.  TCA also offers a number of mini-grant programs that can provide small grants to help with the costs.  For more information on grants, click here.
